A Dog's World

“A Dog’s World” tells the great adventure of a dog and his human friend, in the attempt to make of their relationship something special. Beau is an unruly and spoiled Golden Retriever. While trying to correct his unpolite behaviour through dog education, his human friend discovers that the dog has authority problems with boring human beings. Determined to solve the boredom problem, the human friend signs her water dog and herself to water sport activities, but she clashes with the authoritarian attitude of that environment. With the help of the ethologist Chiara Mariti, Beau’s human friend tries to learn how to listen to her dog’s needs, to make of him a happy living being. The learning process involves a long journey that goes from Turin to Hamburg. Thrown into an unknown world made of human-sized cities, scientific tests and human beings’ dreams of domination, Beau behaves like an alien on a mission of discovery, dragging his human friend in funny imaginary plots prompted by reality. “A Dog’s World” digs into the relation between humans and dogs. In the attempt to see the world from a dog’s perspective, the human friend learns how to listen to the silent voice of nature.
