The movie is born with the purpose of narrating the genesis and the story of Casa Lyda Borelli, which is the first and only charitable institution for actors in our country, but as well the stories of artists and actors who lived there spending the last years of their lives, years full of memories and anecdotes that we would like to bring back to light. The aim of the movie is also telling the way of living the theatre world in a period which
now is far away from when the live performance used to
represent, with the cinema, the main form of entertainment, a non‐elitist pastime to which a numerous and heterogeneous audience used to partecipate with great passion.
