Genoeffa Cocconi, played by Lucia Vasini, reveals the story of her life as a woman of the Resistance in a conversation with a young researcher, played by Maria Vittoria Dallasta. A fundamental point of view of the historical-social context of the time: the condition of women, fascism, the church, the Resistance, the dramatic difficulties of the choices of an entire generation of women, and the struggle for freedom.
A role, that of women in the Resistance, to be reconsidered in history on a par with that of men. With the voices of Fiorella Mannoia, Liliana Cavani, Benedetta Tobagi, Teresa Vergalli, Albertina Soliani, Vanna Iori, Laura Artioli, Maria Morotto, and Edies Reverberi. Accompanying the story are repertoire materials, animation, original music by Pietro Cantarelli and the song “Mariposa” by Fiorella Mannoia, winner of the Sergio Bardotti Award at the 2024 Sanremo Festival.
