The film tells the art and life of the painter of feelings, the master of Seicento who reached the glory with his talent. His story is intertwined with that of his hometown, Cento, to which he always remained faithful, despite his tremedous success. A reciprocated bond that emerged strongly during the 2012 earthquake, when the entire community ran to save the painter’s works and decided to send them away for the sake of art. An incredible journey that took Guercino all the way to Japan in the name of love for culture and solidarity among peoples.
