Our society is rapidly aging and at the same time it has a prejudice against being elderly, an “ageism”. The loss of autonomy, the loss of identity and the painful burden of taking care are among the greatest fears. This documentary deals with these issues not with the intention of providing a solution, but to start asking ourselves, together, new questions. Beginning with some sentences written by patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, we make a journey full of encounters and daily changes, discovering that this condition may also open to a growth opportunity and that it is possible to build prostheses also for memory
