O Trem da Utopia

Set in October 2018, in the week preceding the election of Jair Bolsonaro , this film portrays an oneiric São Paulo, which in every corner exchanges its outlines with the cities from where the characters of this film come from (São Paulo + Trieste | São Paulo + Bologna, Naples etc …). A one-day journey in which Piero will deal with national identity, social inclusion. the obtainment of the citizenship, then celebrating an unlikely 4th of November, discovering what makes a place, our home.Because home is a place you do not actually go to, but rather you come back to – even if you do not know it yet.
