The best reward

Mattia is a 17-year-old boy. Raised in post-industrial Italy, an area with a deep identity crisis, he is the son of a trade unionist and a housewife. Hypersensitive and fragile, he expresses himself through hip-hop music.
The death of his brother ushers a period of huge changes. Mattia quits school, starts working in a local factory and, through a North-African colleague, he converts to Islam. In the grip of a devastating disquiet, he is taken into a spiral of isolation and radicalisation.
