A documentary filmmaker, an inmate who tells him his past, and a girl victim. Three lives intertwine in and out of prison.

Passion for his job pushes Luca, a documentary film-maker working temporarily as a prison teacher, to reconstruct with his inmate pupils the murder one of them committed, forcing his will. Retracing the events to produce the set designs and film the locations to superimpose using the blue screen technique, Luca finds himself meeting the families involved in the events and is forced to question himself on his own relationship to identity and memory.
