Un uomo fedele

Michele is 30 years old, married and seemingly happy. One night, while stopping at a gas station, he allows himself to be seduced by a young street prostitute. Back home, guilty also of having lost his wedding ring during the sexual encounter, Michele begins to develop overwhelming feelings of remorse toward his wife Stefania. The following morning, near the abandoned farmhouse where the encounter took place, the brutally murdered body of the youn  prostitute is found in a pool of blood. And while Michele, tormented by confused memories of that night, starts to lose his grip on sanity, at the same time an experienced police inspector begins investigating the wedding ring discovered only a few steps from the victim’s body. Thus begins his search for the killer, and soon his path will intertwine with that of the unfaithful young man, forcing him to confront just how deep the evil within human beings can run.
