Kissing Gorbaciov

In 1988 in Melpignano, a small village in Salento, a historical event took place: for the first time Soviet rock bands performed beyond the curtain. The following spring, some Italian bands, including CCCP, performed in the Soviet Union. Through unpublished archive material and the testimonies of the direct protagonists, we will discover the incredible story of a tour that was able to create a bridge between two worlds that had been divided until then, thanks to a language that needs no interpreters: music.
