Luci per Ustica

Directed by Luciano Manuzzi | |

The lights for Ustica are 81 bulbs that turn on and off to the rhythm of a heart, installed by the artist Christian Boltanski in the “Museo per la memoria di
Ustica” in Bologna, a museum built in memory of the tragedy of the DC9 downed on June 27, 1980 with 81 people on board. But they also represent the lights that have illuminated the darkness about the downing of the aircraft. Until we’ve arrived at a judicial truth, even if it’s still a partial one”
