A young director is commissioned to make a documentary about the Emilian Rhine, a river homonymous to that on whose shores Wagner’s Rheingold is set. But what gold could ever be hidden in his homeland? Like in the thousand and one nights, each story is part of one journey, from the source to the mouth of the river. During this journey, the protagonist will discover that he is part of a collective memory and will discover the secret of the gold he was looking for. Because gold is everywhere, as long as one can see it.
