Shalom! La musica viene da dentro. Viaggio nel coro Papageno
In the “Dozza” prison of Bologna, from an idea by Claudio Abbado and developed by the Associazione Mozart14, the Papageno choir is formed, a group of prisoners directed by Michele Napolitano. It is a melting pot of personal stories, with the colours of the flags of various countries. It is the free zone where male and female voices come together, and where it is even possible to fall in love. Most of all, the choir is the instrument that reminds those serving a sentence that a world outside exists, a different life, of culture to explore. Enza Negroni enters with his video camera during the preparation of the performance, amid rehearsals and desertions, practical difficulties and stage fright.
