Nasce a Bologna nel 1991. Nel 2016 si laurea in Architettura con una tesi sulle città post-conflittuali, vivendo 6 mesi a Beirut, Libano. Dal 2017 inizia l’attività di fotografo freelance. I suoi lavori editoriali sono apparsi su The New York Times, Le Monde, The Wall Street Journal, L’Espresso, Internazionale, Courier International, La Repubblica e altri. Nel mondo dell’audiovisivo ha collaborato come fotografo di scena e videomaker con Indigo film (Bentornato Presidente) e Maestro Production (New School 2 – vari videoclip); tra i clienti commerciali si contano Warner Music Italy, Spi CGIL, Fox Italy, De Agostini, Aska News.
Nel 2017 è stato selezionato per la Masterclass dell’ICP – International Center of Photography “Visual Storytelling and New Media”. Nel 2018 è stato selezionato per la Nikon-NOOR Academy e per il Canon Student Program al Visa Pour l’Image, Perpignan. Sempre nel 2018 il suo documentario breve sulle docce pubbliche di Torino ha vinto il Premio Canon Giovani Fotografi ed è stato esposto al Festival Internazionale Cortona On The Move.

Michele was born in Bologna, Italy in 1991. In 2016 he graduated in Architecture developing a master thesis on the divided post-conflict cities, with a research semester in Beirut, Lebanon. In 2017 started working as a freelance photographer. His work appeared on international media such as The New York Times, Le Monde, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, Vice US, L’Espresso, Internazionale, FranceInfo, Courier International, La Repubblica, La Stampa, and others. In the audiovisual industry has worked as photographer and videographer for Indigo Film (Bentornato Presidente) and Maestro Production (New School 2 + various music videos); corporate clients include Warner Music Italy, Spi CGIL, Fox Italy, De Agostini, Aska News.
In 2017 attended the ICP Masterclass Visual Storytelling and New Media. In 2018 he has been selected for the Nikon-NOOR Academy Italy and for the Canon Student Program at Visa Pour l’Image, Perpignan. In the same year his project about public showers and housing crisis in Turin won the Canon Italy Young Photographer Award – Multimedia and the work has been exhibited at Cortona On The Move Festival.
