2033, a veterinary physiology laboratory. Ada, a veterinary researcher, and her team experiment on uploading animal brains. When Ugo, the dog of the woman’s elderly father, dies, Ada decides to try copying his brain and implanting it into a clone to give her father back the dog he had loved. The experiment succeeds: the dog becomes the first immortal being in the history of biology. As the buzzing laboratory prepares to spread the news, Ada brings Ugo back to her father. The man, speechless, does not accept taking the animal back with him.
