In the last 10 years I worked as senior editor on more than 30 documentary films, many of which have been awarded national and international accolades and have been selected to be shown at important European film festivals. I have developed specific skills and experience in the field of biographical documentaries, and in working with found and archival footage. I was the editor for “La rabbia di Pasolini” (Pasolini’s Anger”), an attempt to reconstruct the complete version of Pier Paolo Pasolini’s segment of La Rabbia, directed by Giuseppe Bertolucci (presented at the 65th “Venice Film Festival”, it was finalist at the “Nastri d’Argento del cinema italiano” in 2009) and “Il mondo perduto di Vittorio De Seta”( “The lost world of Vittorio De Seta”), an anthology collection of shorts directed by Vittorio De Seta himself, restored and republished in 2008.
Since the year 2000 I have edited five feature films and several short films, including Zinanà, winner of the 2004 “David di Donatello” award. I am currently professor of “Documentary Film Editing” for the ” Documentary Film Course” at the Laura Bassi highschool in Bologna
