Mutti Jacopo

I am a filmmaker and Cinematographer working between Emilia Romagna and Lombardy.
Born in Parma in 1990, I initially studied Drawing and Foreign Literature. Later, I moved to Milan and completed a three-year directing program at the European Institute of Design. After my studies, I gained experience working as a second-unit cinematographer in documentaries and as a camera operator in commercials, in Italy and abroad. Then I started working as director of photography and editor, collaborating with production companies like Cattleya, Akita, Filmmaster, Mercurio, and Withstand.

Simultaneously, I never lost sight of my love for independent cinema and documentaries. In 2021, my first feature documentary, developed with support from SIAE for creators, premiered at the Filmmaker Film Festival, winning the Perspectives Award.
